The Process

Giclée fine art printing

Every print is produced using the giclée process — a museum-grade digital printing method that uses microscopic droplets of archival pigment ink to achieve extraordinary colour accuracy, tonal depth, and fine detail. It is the standard used by galleries and museums worldwide.

I work with a local, independent printing and framing studio whose quality and care I trust completely. Every print is inspected before it leaves — if it isn't right, it is reprinted. There are no compromises.

The result is a print that faithfully renders the atmosphere of the original photograph — the feather detail of a kingfisher, the texture of bark, the subtlety of early-morning light.

Finish Options

Four ways to order

Choose the finish that suits your space when you configure your print.

Print Only

Base print price

The giclée print alone, flat-packed for safe transit. Perfect if you have a favourite frame already, or want to have it mounted locally.

Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm. Dispatched flat between rigid boards.

Mounted Print

Print price + £15 mount surcharge

The print in a museum-quality ivory white acid-free mount, hand-cut to size. Ready to drop straight into a standard frame.

Mount is cut to a frame size of your choice, so you can source a matching frame easily.

Framed Print

Print price + frame price

The print presented directly in a solid wood frame — no mount. The print fills the full frame aperture for a clean, contemporary look.

Frame size is matched to the print size. Choose from five frame finishes.

Framed & Mounted

Print + mount + frame price

The complete package — print, acid-free mount, and a solid wood frame, assembled and ready to hang. Choose from five frame finishes to match your interior.

Solid wood frames only — no MDF. Glazed with glass for optimum clarity.

Mounts

Museum-quality mounting

Mounts are cut from ivory white, acid-free museum board — the same standard used in professional galleries. Acid-free board ensures the print will not yellow or deteriorate over time.

When you select a mounted finish, you choose a target frame size. The mount is hand-cut so the overall mounted piece fits that standard frame size exactly — making it easy to source a matching frame, or to have one made locally.

For framed & mounted orders, the mount border is proportioned to the print size so the composition is balanced — not too narrow, not overwhelming.

Frames

Solid wood frames

All frames are solid wood — not MDF or composite. Sourced and assembled by the same local studio that produces the prints, so everything is fitted and checked together before it reaches you.

Frames are available with or without a mount. The framed & mounted option adds a hand-cut acid-free mount between the print and frame. The framed print option presents the print directly in the frame for a cleaner, more contemporary feel.

Five finishes are available to suit any interior:

Dark Brown
Oak
Ash
Black
White
